Exceptional Learning with Dr. Mukesh Bhatia's MRCP Course on eGurukul App Dr. Mukesh Bhatia's MRCP Part 1 and 2 courses on eGurukul are exceptional resources. The content, often referred to as "Mini Harrison" or "Smart Medicine," dives deep into core concepts, simplifying complex topics with clarity. Dr. Bhatia's expertise breaks down difficult material into digestible segments, fostering genuine understanding—crucial for MRCP preparation. These courses are more than study tools; they are intellectual journeys that build the knowledge and confidence needed to excel. I highly recommend them to any medical professional serious about mastering medicine.

Hello! I’m Dr. Aravind Muthiah, an MBBS graduate from Tirunelveli Medical College, Tamil Nadu, graduated in January 2024. Today, I’d like to share my journey toward achieving the MRCP (UK).
My passion for Internal Medicine was born during an unexpected period—COVID-19. With medical school closed and quarantine keeping me confined at home, I felt lost, uncertain, and overwhelmed about my future. It was during this time of reflection and doubt that a life-changing gift came my way. Dr. Nachiket Bhatia gifted me Dr. Mukesh Bhatia’s DBMCI USMLE/Smart Medicine Series. I was completely immersed into his lectures throughout the lockdown.
I still remember the memories of the 26-hour lecture on diabetes by Dr. Mukesh Bhatia. Back then, as a second-year medical student, I didn’t have a concrete career plan. Yet, day after day, I showed up for the 4-hour live lectures. They were designed not just to prepare for exams but to inspire confidence that we could tackle any challenge, anywhere in the world.
Fast forward to January 2024—I had completed my MBBS and embarked on an ambitious dual journey: pursuing the USMLE and the MRCP. My preparation officially began on October 24, 2023. This period was anything but smooth; I faced emotional struggles, financial hurdles, and setbacks that could have easily derailed me. My US visa and clinical rotations were rejected, and many seniors discouraged me, saying the MRCP was meant for postgraduate physicians, not fresh graduates.
Yet, when you’re determined to reach your destination, the path reveals itself. Encouragement from my teachers, especially the reassuring words of Dr. Mukesh Bhatia, kept me grounded and motivated. Every time I felt disheartened, their guidance rekindled my spirit.
Despite the challenges, I achieved a remarkable score of 730 in MRCP Part 1 and successfully completed both the USMLE and MRCP (UK) within a year. Looking back, it feels almost surreal. Friends often ask, “How did you manage it?” And honestly, even I wonder sometimes!
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my parents, my incredible teachers, and my friends. A special thanks to Dr. Nachiket Bhatia for introducing me to the inspirational teachings of Dr. Mukesh Bhatia. They didn’t just help me pass exams—they instilled in me the confidence to dream big and persevere.
To anyone on a similar path: trust your journey, lean on your mentors, and never lose sight of your goals. The destination is worth it.
